The main difference between 304 and 304L is the carbon content. 304 is the general type, and the ones with L are low-carbon types with better welding performance. 304L only reduces the carbon content, so it is about 500 yuan/T more expensive than the general 304. Sometimes according to customer needs, there will be 304L with a nickel content of about 9%, which is one nickel higher than the general 304, and the price is about 1000-1500.
